How we know that Isaiah wrote the Book of Isaiah.
Isaiah and Cyrus the Great: No Deutero-Isaiah. (No second or tertiary sources.) Many synagogues and churches are weak because they have leaders who have been brainwashed by seminary professors to not believe in the Word of G-d or in the prophetic ability of the Holy Prophets. For example, they postulate that the Book of Isaiah could NOT have been written by one Isaiah because they do not believe in predictive prophecy: that Isaiah could NOT have known what would happen 100 years before Cyrus was born ... and 150 years before it came to pass ... plus name Cyrus by his name.
These "mentors of madness" have a bias against the supernatural, and against the ability of God to speak through his prophets centuries in advance. While their arguments may sound scholarly, they are still only "bias against the supernatural" based upon a humanistic world view. Thankfully, there are many scholars with Ph.D.'s who believe that the Holy Scriptures (Tanakh and Brit Chadashah - the Jewish Old and New Testaments) are the inspired, inerrant Word of G-d in entirety. And, thankfully I was privileged to study under several of them: both Jew and Gentile.
