"And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever, the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you." (John 14:16-17)
The word "another" used in the passage above is the Greek word "allos."
Jesus said He would send "an Other" of the same
kind, One besides Himself. The "Other" would have similarities to Jesus
but be different in operations and ministries. The "Other" would be in
addition to Jesus, one besides Him, but just like Him.
Yeshua, told us that the "Other" will do in His absence what our LORD would do if He were here with us.
The "Other," Who is the Holy Spirit, continues today teaching what Jesus did and taught.
Jesus promised you, in John 14:12-14 that "He who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also, and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father," [to send us "an Other," the Holy Spirit]. Ask in Jesus' name . . . and Jesus will do it through the personage of the "Other."
The Holy Spirit is God's agent on earth to supply the resurrection power of Christ!
He is waiting ... and wanting ... to do greater works through you TODAY!
Talk with Him . . . spend time with Him!
If you honor the Spirit, He will honor you!
