EARTHQUAKES & END TIMES


There are several events or, happenings, that will take place as we approach the final days of Planet Earth. Many of these events will increase not only in frequency or number but, also, in magnitude or amplification.

For example, earthquakes will begin to happen more frequently and in greater size ... unleashing horrific power with catastrophic effects.

We must realize, however, that the resultant happenings may or may not follow certain trends or naturalistic patterns. That is, they may  or may not prescribe to historic records or patterns of activity.

For example, an earthquake may happen causing such unique "footprint" of tectonic activity with no previous seismic activity of commonality. There are several sources of seismic activity:

  • Volcanic
  • Tectonic
  • Oceanic
  • Atmospheric
  • Artificial (such as explosions)


Induced seismicity (the relative frequency and distribution of earthquakes) is a source of minor earthquakes and tremors caused by human activity that alters the stresses and strains on the earth's crust. It is of low magnitude.

There are seven (7) basic major tectonic plates that encapsulate the layer of the earth around the continents. The seven major plates are as follows:



Earthquakes MAY follow certain earthquake patterns. For example, the recent 9.0 quake that happened in Japan fits into a pre-defined pattern of events in the Pacific "RIng of Fire." There was an 8.8 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Chile on February 27, 2010. Then, on February 22, 2011, there was a 6.3 magnitude quake in New Zealand. If you observe these events followed up by the 9.0 quake in Japan on March 11, 2011, you see a clockwise pattern.

Geologist Jim Berkland, a former USGS geologist, who predicted the 1989 "World Series" quake in San Francisco believes that the gravitational pull of the moon when it is at its closest to the earth influences magnetic fields and he estimates that the Pacific NorthWest will be hit next with a major earthquake. This would include the area of the states of California, Oregon, and Washington in the USA. He states: "The months of October, March, and April are the three most devastating earthquakes in terms of damage in San Francisco history."

Geologist Berkland believes that the gravitational force of the moon is the reason for strange animal happenings recently in the news, such as the massive fish kill in Redondo Beach, California, USA, and the massive fish kill in Mexico, plus the amount of whales that came in close to San Diego. Changes in the magnetic field often precede larger earthquakes. Most animals have the mineral magnetite in their bodies. So, animal behavior such as large fish coming into shallow water, wild animals coming into the city can be an indication of a earthquake.

The 2015 earthquake in Nepal (the Himalayan earthquake) which killed nearly 6,000 people and injured more than twice as many as of 30 April 2015, occurred at 11:56 NST on 25 April with a moment magnitude (Mw) of 7.8 or 8.1Ms and a maximum Mercalli Intensity of IX (Violent). Its epicenter was approximately 34 km (21 mi) east-southeast of Lamjung, Nepal, and its hypocenter was at a depth of approximately 15 km (9.3 mi).

Geophysicists and other experts had warned for decades that Nepal was vulnerable to a deadly earthquake, particularly because of its geology, urbanization, and architecture. 

The risk of a large earthquake was well known beforehand. In 2013, in an interview with seismologist Vinod Kumar Gaur, The Hindu quoted him as saying, "Calculations show that there is sufficient accumulated energy, now to produce an 8 magnitude earthquake. I cannot say when. It may not happen tomorrow, but it could possibly happen sometime this century, or wait longer to produce a much larger one."

According to Brian Tucker, founder of a nonprofit organisation devoted to reducing casualties from natural disasters, some government officials had expressed confidence that such an earthquake would not occur again. Tucker recounted a conversation he had had with a government official in the 1990s who said, "We don't have to worry about earthquakes anymore, because we already had an earthquake"; the previous earthquake to which he referred occurred in 1934.

According to the USGS, the temblor was caused by a sudden thrust, or release of built-up stress, along the major fault line where the Indian Plate, carrying India, is slowly diving underneath the Eurasian Plate, carrying much of Europe and Asia. Kathmandu, situated on a block of crust approximately 120 km (75 miles) wide and 60 km (37 miles) long, reportedly shifted 3 m (10 ft) to the south in just 30 seconds.

NOTICE: Earthquake in Indonesia, October, 2010, happened AFTER massive beachings of whales in New Zealand, Australia, and Tasmania. In the next few days there were other strong earthquakes. Just before the 1989 "World Series" earthquake there were many whales which showed up on the beaches in two different areas near there. This had never happened before.

An interesting side note is that when I did graduate work at one of the schools I attended I did research on the correlation of earthquakes and animal behavior. Usually a short while before earthquakes are about to happen, animals start exhibiting weird behavior. Dogs start barking, birds have strange manifestations, horses begin running around corrals. As a conclusion, I had proffered the suggestion that laboratories should be established for the purpose of tracking animal behavior so that residents who live nearby coming earthquakes could be warned to evacuate immediately.

When my firstborn child was born, the mother had an oscilloscope hooked up while she was in labor. The placenta had ruptured and the doctor wanted to keep an close watch on the labor. I was also able to see a graphical printout of the labor pains being monitored on the oscilloscope.

When the false pains were happening, the stylus drawing the graph was slightly volatile: it would jump up and down and you could see it moving back and forth on lines horizontal lines from 1 to 3. Later, when the pains got heavier, it would jump between lines 4 through 7 and started speeding up in oscillation. But ... when the heavy labor pains started as the baby starting moving through the birth canal, preparing to make its entrance into the new environment of the outside world, the stylus would jump super fast - back and forth - between lines 7 through 10.

That is what we are seeing today. You and I are observing the start of the signs of the end times: the early (or, false) labor pains. Messiah Yeshua taught us:

  • "You shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. see that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, disease and pandemics, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains."
